One down, one to go! The upper level sunporch is done! I must say that I am pretty impressed that we were able to do this by ourselves! I had to have help with the ceiling, as it was hard to install the 12 foot pieces of siding by myself. So Dad, Lexi or Ruben would help me with that. Also, the full sheets of drywall were obviously too heavy for me to lift myself, so they helped with that also. I must say the mudding over the screws and seams is close to perfect! We were able to drywall it all with leftover drywall from when we remodeled the upstairs bedrooms except for one sheet. The carpet we had bought years ago, and the paint was paint we had bought for the attic, but then decided it wasn't the right color. So other than the one sheet of drywall, all we had to buy was the door and window trim and the baseboards. Now I can't wait til the downstairs one is done! Not bad for a project we had never tackled before!
